Recently our class teacher took us for a visit to an old age home of our city. My first ding was of awe to see so many elderly people living under the same roof. I thought Teo should be happy with their friends of the same age-group. I was, however, soon disillusioned. They seemed sad. Some of them smiled on seeing us but it was a raw smile. I was shocked that some of them pulled a wry face when our teacher asked them how they were. I dare say that I could not find any shortage of food or other normal facilities. So their expressions confused me. When I talked to some of them personally, I began to understand them.
