While not technically recognized as its own nation, Sealand was formed on a WWII anti-aircraft platform, just off the coast of Suffolk, England. Inside, HavenCo existed. HavenCo was an offshore data center where they would store anything and claimed that they weren't bound by copyright laws because it wasn't under the jurisdiction of any country.
