In this fast paced modern era, people often face the dilemma of choosing between greater incomes and more leisure time. Some opt for greater financial stability, while others prefer to enhance the quality of their lives.

On one hand, many a times, people compromise with the amount of free time available with them to attract higher financial incentives. They prefer to work longer and reduce the time that they can have for hobbies or family or friends. Moreover, they believe that by working harder, they will be able to bring greater happiness to themselves and their loved ones. Undoubtedly, they are able to enjoy greater comforts and a more luxurious life. However, in the process, they might lose physical and mental health and, sometimes, relationships.

On the other hand, sometimes, people take tough decisions of prioritizing their leisure time over the extra income they can make. They certainly see great value in their free time due to which they are ready to sacrifice the financial incentives they can draw by working more. Further, they are also aware of the benefits of a balanced lifestyle. Nonetheless, these people might seek lesser monetary rewards. But they generally achieve higher levels of happiness.

In my perspective, no one situation or view can be idealized. People must act as per their personal needs. Those, who have greater financial commitments to fulfill, might not have a choice to enjoy much free time. Likewise, those who are in the younger age bracket might wisely decide to optimize all opportunities they get to attain a stable level. At the same time, we cannot negate the importance of rejuvenating oneself by having some free time.

In conclusion, People must aim to strike the right balance between their work hours and leisure hours to experience a more fulfilling lives.
