It simply means that the people in the country with one of the largest accumulation of resources in the World are still struggling to fulfill their basic day to day requirements, like health, education, sanitation, clean drinking water etc.

The problem lies not with the scarcity of resources but with the concentration of resources. A major part of wealth in India is accumulated by a small group of people.

India is rich in a lot of resources but still we are poor. this is because that availability of resources does not mean that the country is developed. the available natural resources should be used upto full potential in order to get sufficient value.
development of resources depends upon the availability of Technology and machinery to make it useful in such a way that there is still resources for the future generations.
and also these developed resources are mostly accumulated in the hands of that rich and powerful section of the society which describe the poor people of these resources.
does our country faces a lot of problem in quality which start starts from the disparity of such resource development programs
