Hello there!

  • In terms of size or sexual dimorphism specifically, male hawks, eagles, and ostriches are smaller in size compared to their female counterparts. This means that female hawks (formels) are larger in size than male hawks. Due to this sexual dimorphism, peacock is the odd one because males are larger than females.
  • In terms of coloration as part of mating behaviour, peacock is the odd one as the males have very bright coloration compared to their female counterparts who are dull colored. The other birds (hawk, eagle, and ostrich) do not conduct such mating behaviour and coloration is not as important.
  • However, in terms of capability to fly, ostrich is odd one. Hawks and eagles are very good in flying and are birds of prey. Although not usual, peacocks are able to fly. Ostriches however are not able to fly (flightless bird) but run very fast.

I hope this will help you!

Ostrich is the odd one out.

Peacock, hawk and eagle can fly without any problem whereas ostrich requires cannot fly.

In addition to this, they are also the heaviest and largest bird that lives among us as compared to others.

They are built in such a way that it is easy for them to run since they have amazing strength in their legs.
