Oviparous means to produce eggs rather than live babies.This term is used for animals.The animals like-amphibians,fishes,reptiles,sharks,snakes,etc..are oviparous as they produce eggs instead of babies..

oviparous are the animals which lay eggs for example... birds, echinda, platypus and many more. whereas viviparous are the animals which give birth to youngones. for example cat, dog, humans.
