Sky is blue because when white light of sun strikes on the atmosphere it scattered by atomspher about light spectrum blue light have less fequency so it scattered so sky looks blue. This phenomena is called scattering of light.

sky is blue because when white light strikes the atmosphere and white light colours one of them is blue and blue has the shortest frequency.... so the sky appears blue..
