POP is used by doctors for joining the fractured bones at right positions and it is also used for making decorative pieces and make designs on ceilings....

Plaster Of Paris ( POP ) is Calcium Sulphate Hemihydrate ( CaSO4. 2H2O )
It hardens when moist and dried
USES :-
- Bite registration of teeth
- Molds can be placed for specimens , models
- Property of water resistance, the plates, cups, mugs are made and it is washed by water and can also clean with dish wash soap or liquid
- In the fractured area
- Used as a fireproof material
- Manufacture Colored chalks, Chalks, Chalk Crayons
- Floor cement manufacturing
- Coating of wall putty
