Hcf and lcm of two numbers are 9 and 360 respectively. If one no. Is 45 find the other no.

We know that a x b = H.c.f (a, b) x L.c.m( a,b)

a = 45 , H.c.f (a, b) = 9 ,L.c.m( a,b) = 360.

b = ( 9 x 360) / 45 = 72.

∴ Another number is 72

Let another number be x.

9* 360 = 45 * x

X = 3240/ 45

X = 72
