Hi,

H.C.F :

The greatest number which is the common

factor of two or more given numbers is

called H.C.F or G.C.D.

According to the problem given ,

Write the numbers into product of the

Primes.

575 = 5 × 5 × 23

690 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 23

920 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 23

253 = 11 × 23

W easily notice that ,

23 is the common factor of all the numbers.

Therefore ,

H.C.F ( 575 , 690 , 920 , 253 ) = 23
