By Euclid's Division Lemma

100=60*1+40
60=40*1+20
40=20*2+0

Therefore HCF(60,100) = 20

To find the HCF of 100 and 60 by using the Euclid's division lemma

By using Euclid's Division Lemma,
100 > 60

∴ 100 = 60 * 1 + 40
∴ 60 = 40 * 1 + 20
∴ 40 = 20 * 2 + 0
          ----

∴ HCF of 100  and 60 = 20

∴ HCF ( 100,60 ) = 20.

hope this helps you !
