Continue Division Method :

  • We use the continued division method for finding the highest common factor of two or more numbers. 
  • First, Divide the larger number by smaller numbers.
  • Then the remainder becomes divisor and the divisor becomes dividend. This will continue until the remainder is 0.
  • The divisor which does not leave a remainder is the H.C.F.
