  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

        Given data:- 70,105,140.

        To find:-Value of HCF.

         Solution:-

  • We know that HCF means the highest common factor.
  • Prime factorization of numbers are as follows,

               70=2 \times {5} \times{7} \\105=3 \times5 \times{7} \\140=2 \times 2 \times {5} \times {7}

                  So that,

                {HCF}(70,105,140) \\=5 \times 7 \\=35

        Hence we will get the HCF is 35.

Given: The numbers are70 , 105, 140.

We have to find the HCF of the above numbers.

As we know that the greatest common divisor of two or more integers, which are not all zero, is the largest positive integer that divides each of the integers.

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

The factors of 70 are: 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 14, 35, 70

The factors of 105 are: 1, 3, 5, 7, 15, 21, 35, 105

The factors of 140 are: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 14, 20, 28, 35, 70, 140

Then the greatest common factor is 35.

Hence, the HCF of the above numbers will be35.
