Hey there !

Solution:

Using Euclid's Lemma, we get,

153 = 85 × 1 + 68

85 = 68 × 1 + 17

68 = 17 × 4 + 0

Hence 17 is the Highest Common Factor.

Now According to the Question,

17 = 85x + 153y

Let us take y = 1

=> 17 = 85x - 153

=> 153 + 17 = 85x

=> 170 = 85x

=> x = 170 / 85

=> x = 2

Hence the value of x = 2 and y = -1.

Hence the form is: 17 = 85 ( 2 ) + 153 ( -1 )

Hope my answer helped !
