Given : 90, 108 and 126

To Find : HCF

Solution:

HCF Highest common factor of given numbers is the largest factors which divides all the given numbers perfectly.

HCF = product of common factors of least power

90, 108 and 126

90 = 2 * 3 * 3 *  5   = 2¹ * 3² * 5¹

108 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 * 3 = 2² * 3³

126 = 2 * 3 * 3 * 7  = 2¹ * 3² * 7¹

HCF = 2¹   * 3²  = 2 * 9 = 18

Hence HCF of  90, 108 and 126 is 18
