Solution :-

Indian currency notes = 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 2000

H.C.F. of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100. 500 and 2000

Prime factorization of 5 = 5

Prime factorization of 10 = 2*5

Prime factorization of 20 = 2*2*5

Prime factorization of 50 = 2*5*5

Prime factorization of 100 = 2*2*5*5

Prime factorization of 500 = 2*2*5*5*5

Prime factorization of 2000 = 2*2*2*2*5*5*5

Out of these 5 is the only common factors.

Therefore, H.C.F. of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 2000 is 5
