their HCF = h and LCM = l then

a × b = h × l

Now ,

a = 112 , b = ?

h = 28 , l = 336

a × b = h × l

=> b = ( h × l )/a

=> b = ( 28 × 336 )/112

= 28 × 3

= 84

Therefore ,

Second Number = b = 84
