Let’s try to understand it more clearly.

Take two numbers say 20 and 36

we can write 20 as 2*2*5 and 36 as 2*2*3*3.

So ,hcf =2 *2

and ratio of the two numbers ie 20 and 36 is 5:9

If we want to get back our numbers from the ratio and hcf .We simply do 5*hcf and 9*hcf ie 5*4 and 9*4. We get our original numbers ie 20 and 36.

Apply the same thing to given problem.

Ratio is 15:11 ,hcf=13

So, numbers are 15*13 and 11*13 ie 195 and 143

Answer:

Given that :

HCF of two number = 13

and there ratios = 15:11

so,

let the number be = 15x and 11x

where we know that 'x' is HCF of 15 and 11.

so, the x is equal to = 13

so, number are = 15 × 13 = 195,

11 × 13 = 143 ANS
