Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

p(x) = (x - 3)(x² + x - 2)

q(x) = x² - 5x + 6

HCF = x - 3

Method 1:

We know that product of two numbers = HCF * LCm

=> (x - 3)(x² + x - 2) * (x² - 5x + 6)  = (x - 3) * LCM

=>  (x - 3 )(x + 2) (x - 1) * (x -3)(x -2) = (x - 3) * LCM

=> LCM = (x + 2) (x - 1) (x -3)(x -2)

Method 2:

p(x) = (x - 3)(x² + x - 2)

Factors are (x - 3 )(x + 2) (x - 1)

q(x) = x² - 5x + 6

Factors are (x -3)(x -2 )

Thus LCM is (x -3) ( x-2)(x+2)(x-1)
