Most acidic: HClO4 > HClO3 > HClO2 > HClO. For a series of oxyacids with the same number of oxygens but with different central atoms such as HOBr, HOCl, HOI, as the electronegativity of the central atom increases, the O-H bond strength weakens and the acidity increases.
