perimeter given =32cm
a+b+8=32cm
where,
a=b [because it is a isosceles triangle]
so let the side a nd b be x
x+x+8=32cm
2x+8=32cm
2x=32-8
2x = 24cm
x= 24/2
x= 12 cm
now we have to find area of triangle so area is 1/2base×height
1/2×8×12
area = 4×12
area=48cm^2
