balance the chemical equation first....

6cao + p4o10 -------->2ca3(po4)2

1mole of p4o10 require 6 moles of cap to react completely.

Now according to the question....

mole of p4o10 = given mass/ molecular mass

= 852/280

=3.04mol

1 mole of p4o10 require 6 mole of cao, so 3.04 mole of p4o10 will require = 3.04×6 moles of cao

= 18.24 moles of cao
