Explanation:At first we have to do the calculation normally.

So the volume of the sphere is (4/3)πr³

Or,(4/3)πd³/8

Therefore,Volume = (4/3)π×2.14³/8 cm³

=5.134481 cm³

As per the rules,the number of significant digits of the result should be equal to the number of significant digits of the number given in the data which has the lowest significant digits.So here 2.14 has the least,3 significant digits,so the result would be

5.13 cm³
