when full the water in the tank is 0.4m deep.
Rio uses 45 litres of water to wash each car.

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

length = 0.9 m

breadth = 0.9 m

height = 0.4 m

Volume of the tank = 0.9 × 0.9 × 0.4 = 0.324m³

If 1m³ = 1000 L, then, 0.324m³ = 0.324 × 1000 = 324 L

If 45  taken to wash a car, so,

1 car needs 45L of water

8 cars will need 45 L × 8 = 360 L

If (Capacity of tank >/= the need of water in 8 cars) then there will be enough water.

If (Capacity of the tank < the need of water in 8 cars) then the water is insufficient.

Here, 324 L < 360 L

So, the need of water in 8 cars is more than the capacity of the tank.

So the water is insufficient.

∵Rio is incorrect.
