Answer: Jawaharlal Nehru was closely associated with Gandhi during India's freedom struggle. At that time of this famous speech, he was serving as the first Prime Minister of independent India. He spoke emotionally in the speech about Gandhiji.
All of us sense that feeling and I don't know when we shall be able to get rid of this. In this, there is another feeling of proud Thanksgiving. This is given to us of this generation to be associated with this mighty person.
We could follow his path and let us be worthy of him, let us always be so.
Extreme things happened which no doubt made him suffer tremendously, through his tender face never lost its smile and never speak harsh words to anyone.
