Once there was a young boy who had been accused of stealing money from a rich man's house. The accusers, led by the man's wife, claimed that they saw him enter their house while they were working in the other part of the house. The young boy insists that it was not him and he had never even been to that articular house.

Unable to confirm who is telling the truth, the leaders of the village insist on solving the crime to prevent further events such as this. But they did not know what to do about it. The boy had insisted on his innocence while the victim's wife had assured them that she had seen him enter. So, they decided to ask the wise old man for help.

When the old man heard their story, he asked the boy if he was sure about his innocence and if he would swear it on his mother's name. the boy sad yes, stating that he had nothing to lose. The woman was also asked if she dared to swear on her own mother's life. She accepted. But then, before anyone could say or do anything, a young boy of about the same age came forward and told the crowd that he had stolen the money and that the other boy was innocent. hen asked why he did it, he then told them that the woman herself had asked him to do so, so that her husband will not suspect her for taking the money. She had asked the boy to steal it so that she can pay off her debts without her husband's knowledge.

The leaders reprimanded the woman, asking her to pay a sum of money to the wrongly accused boy for wrongly victimizing him. And the husband promised to make sure that his wife did what she had bee ordered to do so and apologized to everyone, especially the young boy.
