Active Voice : He is eating rice.

Passive Voice : Rice is being eaten by him .

Additional Information :

  • The voice of a verb tells whether the subject of the sentence performs or receives the action.
  • There are two types of voices
  1. Active Voice
  2. Passive Voice
  • In active voice , subject perfroms the action
  • In passive voice , subject undergoes the action
  • We use Active Voice when more clarity and straightforward relation is required between verb and subject.
  • We use Passive Voice when the action is the focus, not the subject or when the doer is unknown.
  • No change in tense
  • Main verb must and should in past participle form only !!
