Your answer for this query is:
• No man's life is as unhappy as he leads.
Changing the degree helps me maintain the first form of the verb for my singular subject and assists to stick with the suffix 's' in 'leads'.
I tried several other ways too. For eg.- "What an unhappy life does he lead!" Although, the sentence makes sense, the rules to abide were not taken care of. You can see that the statement, here, ends with 'lead'.
