3) In brief , Dravidian Temples are built according to the Dravidian architecture of the South Indian culture.

There are various temples under Dravidian architecture.

For eg:-

Kerala and Tamilnadu Temples are quite different from the rest of Temples in Southern India.

Its architecture is determined from the way of worship i.e, those temples follow Tantric rituals or Srauta Tradition.

These temples are heavily influenced by the geographical location, climate and the local culture.

Most of these are built with wood having liitle less design features as compared to the temples present in other regions.

Let's take the examples of temples in Tamil Nadu ,Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Most of the Temples in Tamil Nadu are built with granite and other types of hard rocks due to its availability.

Temples in Karnataka are also built with various rocks from granite like those in Hampi to sand stone that you can see in Halebidu.

Temples in Andhra and Telangana are also built from such hard stones.

The similarities between all these temples is the Agama way of worship.
