There was lots of pressure on Sadao to hand over the POW to police; his servants and wife wanted it. After the POW had recovered, Sadao decided to hand him over to police. So, he wrote a report mentioning all the events that had taken place from the washing up of the POW to his recovery. However, he didn’t complete the report. He didn’t want the POW whom he had saved from dying, to be handed over to police.
