See first of all subtract 219000 from 224000

So,224000-219000=5000

Now 224000×x/100=5000

x=2.2 (approx)

Now let's decrease 2.2%of 219000 for the next 2 years. so, 219000-219000×22/1000=214182

Now similarly decrease 2.2%from 214182 for the next 2 yrs.

so 209470

Now for 1 year decrease 1.1 %(half of 2.2%)from 209470

So the answer is 207166( approx)
