Solution:

We are given that The ratio of present ages of suresh and mahesh is 7 : 5.

Let the ratio be x

So,Suresh's present age = 7x

Mahesh's present age = 5x

Suresh's age after 6 years = 7x+6

Mahesh's age after 6 years = 5x+6

After 6 years their ages will be in the ratio of 4 : 3

So,\frac{7x+6}{5x+6}=\frac{4}{3}

21x+18=20x+24

x=6

Mahesh's present age = 5x=5(6)=30

Hence Mahesh's present age is 30 years
