Answers
Topic:- Direct and Indirect Speech:
- "He said, I have done my work"
- We've to change the given sentence into Reported speech.
- He said that he had done his work.
EXPLANATION:
The "inverted commas" has been removed. The word "that" was inserted before the subject and the quoted words. Pronouns were changed in the way - 'I' was changed to "He" (as the speaker is pointing masculine gender) and 'My' was changed to "Him". The tense of the verb is in present perfect tense. So, has been changed to "Past perfect tense", i.e, 'have done' has been changed to "Had done". Finally, the the sentence has been ended with a "full stop".
