After changing the given direct speech -He said, "She will go there" into an indirect speech, the sentence will become "He told that she would go there".

  • In English, we can state someone's statement in two speeches, Direct speech, and Indirect speech.
  • In a direct speech, the reporting verb ( the verb of the statement made by a person ) remains the same as spoken.
  • But in indirect speech, the reporting verb is changed and the senetence means the same meaning from the third person's perspective.
  • In this given direct speech, the tense of the reporting verb is simple future tense and the verb is "will go". So, the reporting verb will be converted into "would go".
