The Total Number of Employees = 50
Let assume that all employees are being paid 100 Rupees per month
Therefore total salary of 50 people = 50 x 100 = 5000 Rupees
Now, 30 people have a hike of 10%
That means 30 people get a salary of 110 Rupees per month
Now, 20 people have a hike of 20%
That means 20 people get a salary of 120 Rupees per month
New salary of 50 people =(110x30) + (120x20)
= 5700
Increase in salary = 700
Increase in percent = (700/5000) X 100 = 14 %
