In indirect speech....

↪️He says that there is no ink in the inkpot.

In this we will not change says to said and we will change is to was(in past tense).

And rest of the sentence will be same.

☺️✌️

mehta62: was nahi hoga is hoga because when the reporting speech is in present tense then the reported speech will not be change

Given,

Direct Speech : - He says,'' There is no ink in the inktpot".

Indirect Speech; - He says that there is not ink in the inkpot.

Explanation : - 1. Reporting verb is in present , So there will be no change of tense in reported speech.

2. for assertive sentences conjuction 'that' is used.
