Rules for Changing direct into indirect speech :-

☆ The $\bold\purple{object}$ of the verb in the active voice becomes the $\bold{subject}$ of the verb in the passive Verb.

☆ The form of vern '$\bold{be}$' $\bold{(am\:,is\:,are\:,was\:,were\:,being\:,been)}$ is put before the main verb according to the tense of the main verb and the number (singular or plural) and the person ( 1st , 2nd and 3rd) of the new subject.

☆ The preposition 'by' is placed after the main verb of the passive sentence followed by the subject of the active voice which now becomes the object of the preposition.
