heat a few crystals of copper sulphate in a dry boiling tube. what is the colour of the copper sulphate after heating? do you notice water droplets in the boiling tube? where have these come from ?
Add 2-3 drops of water on the sample of copper sulphate obtained after heating.
What do you observe? Is the blue colour of copper sulphate restored?

Explanation:

after heating it changes into white..

and Yes!!droplets also occur after doing this experiment...

these water droplets came from either heating of copper sulphate because on heating it releases water droplets at different temperatures...

if you add water it changes again to it's previous state

Answer:

Explanation:

when cuso4.5h2o heated , we get cuso4 .h20 + 4h2o and on further heating of cuso4.h2o we get cuso4 + h20 and after this if we heat cuso4 we get cuo that is a black color substance and so2 , so3 and 02 gas..

---->YES, WE NOTICE WATER DROPLETS . THE WATER DROPLETS ARE ACTUALLY THE WATER MOLECULES THAT WERE PRESENT IN CUSO4.5H2O IN CRYSTALS FORM AND WHEN WE HEAT THEM THEY CHANGE FROM CRYSTALS TO WATER FORM

------->WHEN WE POUR WATER ON CUSO4 IT CHANGES INTO BLACK COLOR THAT IS ACTUALLY CUO....
