heat is the flow of energy.....in practical sense it is not energy itself,it is only transfer of energy.....it is the internal energy that is transferred from a hot body to a cold body or it is the energy in transit.....

on other hand temperature is related to the internal energy of the body....it is the sum of microscopic potential and kinetic energies of the particles making up the substance.....

so they r ofcourse two different things......
