Heat energy is being produced in a resistance in a circuit at the rate of 100W the current of 3A is flowing in the circuit what must be the value of the resistance​

The value of the resistance will be 11.1 ohms.

 

According, to the power formula the power= (current) ^2*Resistance.

 

Therefore, the resistance= (current) 2 /Power. 

The given power is equal to 100 w and the current is 3A.

 

Therefore, according to the formula resistance is equal to current*2/ Power which is equal to 100/9 (11.1 ohms).
