Explanation:

P=90W

I=0.3A

p =  {i}^{2} r

(Please use capital letters)

90=  {(0.3)}^{2} r

r =  \frac{90}{0.09}

R=1000ohm

Give:

heat energy produced = 90 W

The current in the circuit is 0.3A

To Find:

Value of Resistance

Solution:

The power is given by the formula = I ^2 x R

90 = I x I x R

90 = 0.3 x 0.3 x R

R = 90 / 0.09

R = 1000 ohm = 1k ohm

Value of Resistance 1000 ohm = 1k ohm
