heat energy is being produced in a resistance in a circuit at the rate of 100 W. the current of 3A is flowing in the circuit. what must be the value of resistance? find this

chandrakishore: given, P= 100w. I= 3A. we have to find R. ans- we know P=I^2R => R=P/I^2 => R=100/9 = 11 ohm
topgirl: ok thanx

HEY USER ,
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER BuDDY :-

Given V= 100W , I = 3A
I = V / R similarly R = V / I
putting values in the formula we get ,
R = 100/3
R = 33.3 ohm .

HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!!

topgirl: but its answer is 11 ohm
Riyaa11: okk i will check
topgirl: ok plz try it

GIVEN :- V = 100W, I = 3A
According to ohm's law :
V = IR
So we can find the answer by R = V/I
so R = 100/30 = 33.3
