heat flows radially outward through a spherical shell of outside radius R2 and inner radius R1.the temperature of inner surface of sheel theta1 and that of outer is theta2.at what radial distance from center of sheel the temperature is just half way between theta1 and theta2?

As heat will flow in radial manner. Then,

Temperature change = Potential change

Flow of heat = current

Thermic conductance= Conductance

Resistivity = Thermic resistivity

Let x be the distance from the center .

The solution will be:

x = R 1 + R 2 / 2

Step by step solution is given in the following image.
