Sedimentary rock is formed by..well..sediments collecting and eventually compressing under their own weight. If heat is added, that turns the rock into metamorphic rock instead.

But to be fair, heat plays a part in the formation of sedimentary rocks by driving the forces that cause erosion, which causes sediments to flow. Heat drives tectonics, which drive mountain building and uplift, which creates water channels, which carries sediments and deposits them elsewhere, and which can direct weather patterns by the formation of things like mountains. Weather itself is also driven by heat from the sun, which creates the water cycle that erodes rock and carries sediments.
