Heat energy is related with the kinetic energy of the random motioned molecules in a heat conducting substance.

Because, when the heat is travelling through the molecules of a substance ,the molecules achieve a random motion which is almost unpredictable.

This random motion depends on the characteristics of that substance, gravitational force in the surrounding's environment and other circumstances of the surrounding's environment such as temperature pressure etc.

Due to the variations of these factors the motion of the particles is also random and unpredictable.

That's why the correct answer of this question is option a.
