When the heat or energy is liberated is called exothermic reaction. From this reaction which reaction is formed that is called hydrated sodium or hydroxide ions. By this heat we use coal to heat homes, industrial coal work or to cook in home. Exothermic reaction gives too much energy. To create heat exothermic reaction is needed always.
