Well the main reason for coolness in our environment is due to the process called evaporation . And the rate of evaporation depends on humidity of air . If humidity increases rate of evaporation decreases and vice versa so when it rains the humidity goes on increasing and after the rains stop the humidity becomes high and thus the rate of evaporation decreases . Hence as the evaporation take place at a slow rate the heat cannot be easily decreased and thus results in rise in temperature . And hence heat is unbearable after rain in hot season !!!
