convection is the process in which heat travels through liquid and gases from one portion to the another portion is called convection .

conduction is the process in which heat travels in only solid bodies . for e.g. if we heat up an iron rod it heat up by the process of conduction. in this type heat travels through one end to the another end.

radiation is the process in which heat travels without any medium . for e.g. ultraviolet light from the sun.
