Heater is placed on gorund not on ceiling. Why?

heater is always kept on the ground because hot air The hot air from the room heater being lighter and goes up. It should consider with right displays and cold air has pushed it to the bottom.

this has to do with the fact that
in convection hotter medium( here,air) rises and cooler medium sinks to fill in the space left by rising hot air

heater heats the air below causing it to rise and the less warm air to sink down to get warmed

it won't work the other way around..
