heater is placed on ground and not near ceiling. why

The hot air from the room heater being lighter and goes up. It should consider with right displays and cold air has pushed it to the bottom.

This has been placed on ground because the air heated by heater would go up as the warm air is lighter and rises upwards.

The hot air fills up the whole room and similar to air conditioner.

Hence, heater is placed near the floor because the air currents move upwards so the hot airfills up the whole room. Similarly if the air conditioner is placed near the ceiling because it gives out cool air. ... So it is placed near the ceiling because the cool ( high density ) airtends to settle downwards.
